This is, without a doubt, the single most important lesson you must learn and really understand if you want to develop your full potential and enjoy all the success you were designed to enjoy. Success in life comes from one thing: deciding exactly what you want to accomplish and then deliberately choosing to invest the minutes and hours of your life doing only those things that move you in the direction of your goal. It’s simple. It’s the truth. And the moment you fully accept it, your life and the lives of those you love will never again be the same. Success, however you choose to define it, is absolutely predictable.”
In ancient as well as modern warfare, men do not survive the war by luck. Solders must know their weaponry, and are able to use them well. Also! solders must develop a six sense. If the wild hog fail to smell the dogs, or wait until he see the dogs to know that they are near, it will be too late. In spiritual warfare the rule is the same. To survive you must learn, and adapt. The spiritual solder, must know his or her weaponry and became one with them. Prayers alone will not work, and knowing the scriptures alone is not enough. We must learn it, know it and applied it.
(1) WE DID NOT LEARN TO KNOW OURSELVES:
When we went to driving school, we were taught survival skills. First, we were taught to know the secret of road. Knowing the road signs, and knowing your automobile. When we were employed to a company, they first teach us the company’s policy and procedure. The company gives the new employees a week of orientation in which they prepared the new employees to work in the company. If the new employees fails to study and follow the procedures of the worker's hand book, it lays the ground work for the new employees to get into trouble.
The same thing can be said of high school students. If a student fails to memorize the multiplication table, he or she will never pass the high school mathematics test. If a student failed to study the alphabet, he or she will never learn to read. This is the way it is with every thing, there is something that you just cannot get around, it is success or failures. If you are called to be a preacher, you will have to commit some portion of the scriptures to memory, you will not have the time to look up all the scriptures.
When a sinner who is dead in trespasses and sins. Come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and are brought to the kingdom of God. There are some things that, that person must learn first. These are call the “first work”
Rev 2:5 (NKJV) Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, --.
If the first work is not done, the new Christian old life style will spring up back and reclaimed them into the set life styles that they came out of. Another thing we need to fix is our old democratic mind-set. The kingdom of God is not run by democratic means. That is what it look like to us in the western hemisphere. You cannot come in the kingdom of God with a democratic mind-set. A nothing thing we need to learn is that men can only led us thus far, It does not matter how far up a Pedi stool men put you. Men will do that to big you up for a fall. If the believers fail to do this first work, they open themselves up to all kind of demonic attacks. Just like a racist person who limit themselves where friends are concerns, and cut themselves off from future help.
It is our responsibility. Do not bother to ask God to do for you, what he already told you to do. We must prove ourselves, we must know ourselves and we must examine ourselves. If you and I do not come to reckon with ourselves, and meet ourselves face to face, and deal with our selves, our old envy, and our old spites, will come back upon us, and cripple our spiritual life.
2 Cor. 13:5 (KJV) Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
(2) WE DID NOT DEVELOP SPIRITUAL EYES WITH PSYCHIC-PERCEPTION:
Without deep insight and foresight, a person who chooses to serve Christ would not make in, even in the same church where he or she was baptized. You must know that others are watching you, and hating you for your talents, grace, and charisma. You must know long time, even before they start to act it out. The bible calls this ability “The gift of discernment of spirits” The word, “Gift” Has given many people the wrong idea of how to develop this abilities.
You have to make preparation in your own life to reach this height. It is a height and depth. In addition, not just a gift. On one of my job that I held down for seven years. They planned to fire me, I know seven months in advance. I ran off and go to school. I got a job in my new field of work, eleven o clock, and by twelve o clocks the same day the company that I was working with for seven years called me and told me that I was fired. I beat them by seven months, one day and one hour.
(3) WE DID NOT FIND OUT OUR CALLING:
2 Peter 1:10 (KJV) Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
Accordingly to 2 Pet 1:10 if the believers do not know their calling they will fall. Your calling is what God saves you to do, and the gifts he gives you is to accomplishes that set calling. Every thing that a Christians does including marriage must mesh( become entangled or entwined ) with his or her calling. This is one of first thing a new Christians need to be praying about. It was the first thing Paul ask the lord. Notice the clause in the verse “Give diligence” This mean, “care and conscientiousness in one's work”“persevering, and painstaking efforts”
PAUL'S FIRST QUESTION:
The first question the Apostle Paul ask the lord is written in: Acts 9:6 (KJV) And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
Notice the lord did not personally told Paul what his calling were. The lord sent Paul to another believer. Others are important to us, in finding out our calling, we are not independent of others. Each believer no matter how insignificant they look, is like a watch. Some of the gear are small, and some are big, but none of them can function without the help of the other. Ananias was called in to instruct Paul what to do.
Acts 9:10 (KJV) And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. Acts 9:11 (KJV) And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, Acts 9:12 (KJV) And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
HIS WILL IS THE JOB HE SAVE YOU DO:
When I was newly converted to Christianity, the believers always, ask me if I know the will of God for my life! I never really know what they were talking about. Every person that was saved had a mission and a gift. The lord saves you for a purpose, and this purpose is call “ His will for your life” However, because you are just a babe in Christ you do not know any of these. As you go on with the lord his will for you will be unfolds day bay day, to the new believer. Every thing that you will ever do, we must do it with his will in mind. It must mesh with his will. If God call you to be a pastor, you will need a mate that has the same calling and vision. Do not run off and make any big commitment. Your mate has to be tailor made for you by God. You are now a citizen of heaven. Heaven does not rule by democracy. You cannot serve God with democratic mind set.
1 Cor. 12:8 (KJV) For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
(4) WE GOT MARRIED OUT OF OUR CALLING:
1 Cor. 12:28 (KJV) And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Every believers belong to one of these group, and must remain with their group.
Amos 3:3 (KJV) Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Incompatible marriage is one of the number one killer of Christians. This happen because we were not at the spiritual depth, to know people before getting involved with them romantically. How well do we know people? Just as some people cannot handle hate, so some people cannot handle love. Being in love with a person can hide all the things that we should see, and know about the person.
A person can have good physical appearances, while being mental ill. You and I can fall in love with a person, and knowing nothing of their menthol status, their religious beliefs; their taboos, their compulsion; their physical illness, or even their financial status. All love show us, is the person’s physical appearances, style; grace, talent and charisma. We knows nothing of their eating habits, their coughing, spitting, and allergies. Yet we run off and got married base on the shape of our lover's torsos.
(5) WE DID NOT UNDERSTAND AGE SEX COMPATIBILITY:
Genesis 17:17 (KJV) Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
The problem with modern men, is that we wander too far from the ancient arts of the fathers. A man who is twenty years of age getting married to a woman that is twenty is not a good match. This woman if far too mature for that man. She will reach menopause at least ten years before that man. When she is slowing down sexually, he is just coming into his prime.
(6) WE DID NOT LEARN TO KNOW THE HOLY SPIRIT FROM DEMONIC SPIRITS:
2 Tim. 1:7 (KJV) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Any spirit that Church people has, and if it is not the spirit of love it is not of God. We think emotionalism is the spirit of God.
1 John 4:20 (KJV) If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
SATAN'S COUNTERFEIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:
1 John 4:2 (KJV) Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 1 John 4:3 (KJV) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
If a spirit inspire any teacher to deny the incarnation, His passion, death, physical resurrection, and physical ascension to heaven is not of God, and is antichrist However, not because a personal verbally say Christ come in the flesh, that mean he is speaking by the Holy Spirit. Satan has learn a new trick since this verse of scriptures was written. Satan has counterfeit ministers, counterfeit anointing, and counterfeit every thing that God has.
HOW DEMONS ATTACK ADVANCE BELIEFS:

Page 149-150. 1-3 The agency of demons is always brought more conspicuously into notice, in proportion to the manifestation and power of God’s work among souls. When the son of God was manifest in the flesh, in called forth the activity and outspoken agency of demons more than ever before.
VARIOUS KINDS OF DEMONS:
Demons are of a multiplied variety. They are of various types, greater in diversity than human being, and these demons always seek to possess a person congenial to them in some characteristic. The bible tells us of unclean demons, with craft and fortune-telling demons, of insanity, of drunkenness, of gluttony, of idleness, of wonder or miracle working, of despotic demons, theological demons, screeching and yelling demons. There are demons that act more particularly on the body, or some organ or appetite of the body. There are others that act more directly upon the intellect, or the sensibilities, and emotions, and affections.
There are others of a higher order that act directly on man’s spiritual nature, upon the conscience, or the spiritual perceptions. These are the ones that act as angels of light, and side-track and delude many who are real Christians.
UNJUSTIFIABLE ILL-FEELINGS:
God is not going to be communicating to any body that has unjustifiable ill-feelings in their hearts for others.
Matt 5:23 (NKJV) Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, Matt 5:24 (NKJV) leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift
(7) LEARN TO KNOW THE WORD OF GOD:
2 Peter 3:18 (KJV) But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
The Christian life is a growth. Every grace and blessing of the gospel is in seed-form and implanted in the newborn child of God (1 Peter 1:23; James 1:18). If these seeds are watered from heaven and cared for by the individual in conformity to the Word of God, they will grow to full maturity. No single work of grace or even a dozen works of grace or anointings of the Spirit will make a person fully mature and beyond the growing stage of Christian experience. One must walk in the light as he receives knowledge and he will grow normally to maturity in Christ (1 John 1:7; 1 Peter 2:1-8).
Hosea 4:6 (KJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge,.
2 Peter 1:5 (KJV) And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 2 Peter 1:10 (KJV) Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
(8) THE WORD MUST BE APPLIED FOR IT TO WORK:
Jude 1:20 (KJV) But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Luke 6:46 (KJV)And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Matthew 7:22 (KJV) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Matthew 7:23 (KJV) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
YOUR HORMONE DOES NOT STOP WORKING WITH CHRISTIANITY:
Philip. 3:20-21 (KJV)For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: [21] Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Romans 8:23 (KJV) And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Our bodies were not save at conversion. The work of redemption took place in your spirit man. Our body will be redeemed at the return of our lord. We are still waiting for the redemption of our body.
According to Philip 3:20-21 and Romans 8:23. You are still going to have urges. You have to present your body to the lord as a living sacrifice. Not dead one. Living sacrifice give trouble, you will have trouble keeping that body tied to the altar. However, as you and I grow in the lord what seem impossible will be quite possible.

Do you repent of your sins before God and Man, and do you embraces Jesus as your savior? If the answer is yes! By the power invested in me, by the Church, and by the Holy Ghost. I pronounce you forgiven of your sins. Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

My version of Christianity!
My version of Christianity is from Ethiopia, not the Christianity of the Americas. Ethiopian Orthodox. The Christianity that Philip the Evangelist brought to the Ethiopian eunuch, and which the eunuch brought back to Ethiopia, and they practice for thousands of years.
