T he first thing to remember. The illegal drugs is being use as a crutch. There is another problem unseen and hidden. Until this problem is dealt with, the drug problem will not go away.
I asked one drug head female. How can one get of illegal drugs if they want to? She said. “ If the person has an ambition, like wanting to be a nurse, a doctor or an attorney at law, no drugs will be able to held them bound for long.” She went on to say, she know because she get off once. The person have to have reasons to want to get off. Another one told me that, the illegal drugs numb her so she do not feel the emotional pains. The broken hearts, the betrayal, and the memory of her father raping her. The beating she get when she protest his advancement. The drugs did all that for her and that is why she keep taking the drug. My problem now is to get her to forgave her father. He is dead, but she still hated him. The pain will not go away until forgiveness is given.
“WHERE THEY BEEN HURTING”
You have to find out where the drug addicted person been hurting, and walk them through it. Condemning them, preaching to them, or cursing at them is not going to help. You have to show them that there is still some goodness leave in them and they can recover, if they can only reach inside of them and find the strengths to seek help.
“GETTING THEM TO DETOX”
Counseling alone is not enough. You have to take them down and take them into detoxification. As soon as they been release, you have to be prepare to change the community, and provided follow up counselor for them. As long as people keep hanging out with the same bad company they will always fall back into doing the same stuff again.

“NOT ALL COUNSELORS CAN HELP PEOPLE”
The institutions that do not provide religious counselors cannot help religous people. My reason for saying this. People are basically religious. How can a counselor help a religious person, if he or she is working in on organization, that is having problem with the Bible and God? An atheist person, and an atheist organization, thinks that every body is against the Bible.
