The purpose of this article: Speaking to men-unborn!

Y ou might have heard the terminology "He got two life sentences" Then people ask. "How many lives do we expect him to live?" A life sentence is a judicial terminology. Which mean a "period of a time serve or to serve" and not necessarily the duration of one’s entire life span. A life sentence is anywhere from fifteen to twenty-five years.

If a person has no knowledge of Judicial terminology, they will miss out on the main point. Therefore, we can assume that a life sentence and twenty-five years is the same thing.

What does it mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit? "Walk in the spirit" "Live in the spirit" "The Spirit falls upon them" "You are the temple of the Spirit" "You are the body of Christ" "Baptize in the spirit" All these are Idioms and do not literally mean what it says. The Holy Spirit does not live in your body like how a baby live in his or her mother's womb. The Holy Spirit does not physically live in your body. His hands in your hands, his foot in your foot, so and so. This is not the way it goes. "Filled with the Holy Spirit is just a biblical terminology. Which mean "Union with" "Consecrated to the same end" "One in Unity, purpose and mission"

SATAN IS CAPITALIZING ON THE MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT AND IS PUTTING HIS SPIRIT IN PEOPLE WHILE FAKING TO BE THE HOLY SPIRIT.

A group of young people from a certain church turns up at my place of business one day. They told me that a certain boy got filled with the Holy Ghost last night, the boy jumped through the window and ran away; when he got filled. I could not help but ask. "A who frighten him, and when will he write back to us?"

Many Christians believe and teaches that the Holy Spirit came and literally takes up residence in each believer at conversion or sometime after conversion. This concept opens up the new believers to Satanic deceptions and demonic possession. You might say, "a true Christians cannot be poses with an evil spirit,” and "demons and the holy spirit cannot live in the same body," I would ask why not? Both God, Satan, demons and us live in the same universe. In fact, "in God we all live, move and have our being" said the scripture.

Many people fail to understand the Bible. Because the Bible came from the land of Israel. You have to do a study into the manners and customs of such people, to even begin to understand the Bible. The problem is many English people like myself hardly knows English which we speak, much more to know anything about the language, the manners and custom of Israel. But if you really want to be able to interpret the Bible you will have to consider getting at a lease the basic knowledge into the things that we have discussed so far.

When Satan spirit takes up residency in a believer’s body, and is posing to be the Holy Spirit. This leads the new believers off the path of faith, into legalisms, self-righteousness, and spiritual retardation. Even though the believers seem happy, he she will always suffer from depression, sassy without any form of provocation. Above all no life healing revelations, all the revelations that he she receives only causes more and more contentions and suspicions. Christianity means Christ like and you will not see anything Christ like in such and such a person, but a few Jesus, Jesus comment as the conversation drags on. A self-holiness will be very evidence in the person, without temperance.

Everything that the person says; he or she does not do, as you get to know then you will see that all the things they say they; do not do they, do.

Mat 23:4 "Instead of giving you God's Law as food and drink by which you can banquet on God, they package it in bundles of rules, loading you down like pack animals. They seem to take pleasure in watching you stagger under these loads, and would not think of lifting a finger to help.

TO UNDERSTAND THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT UPON A BELIEVERS LIFE YOU MUST KNOW THE PURPOSE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

God gave the Holy Spirit to the followers of Christ in request to Christ prayer. The Holy Spirit job is to comfort the believers in their tribulation. The Holy Spirit job is bringing back the teaching of Christ to the believer’s memory. The Holy Spirit job is to give the believers a sound mind, to give the believers power to communicate the Gospel to lost souls. To implant love in the believers. To promote peace between believers as in all the churches. The questions are this; do you see any of these qualities in people who claim to be fills with the Holy Spirit?

John 14:16-17 (NASB-U)"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; [17] that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

WHERE IS THE POWER TO WITNESS?

Acts 1:8 (KJV) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

WHERE IS THE SOUND MINDS?

2 Tim. 1:7 (KJV) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

WHERE IS THE LOVE?

John 13:35 This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples--when they see the love you have for each other."

John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

A POSES BELIEVER HAS NO LOVE IN THEM.

1Jo 4:20 If anyone boasts, "I love God," and goes right on hating his brother or sister, thinking nothing of it, he is a liar. If he will not love the person he can see, how can he love the God he cannot see?

They have shake hand, tight hugging, and sometime kiss but as soon as your back turns, they fill it with stabbing.

To prevent Satan from derails your faith, you will need to know who and what is the Holy Spirit. The reason for this, many church people will have you balking like a dog saying what they give you is Holy Spirit, and it is Holy Spirit making you behave stupidly like that.

Before you and I can understand the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, you must know something about man. You will need to know what part of man that God speaks to, what part of man that the Holy Spirit fill. Is it man's body man's soul or man's spirit?

THE TRI-UNITY OF GOD.

1 John 5:7 (KJV) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Jesus in the water being baptized by John Baptist. The Holy Spirit came upon him in a bodily shape like a dove, and a voice from heaven spoke, saying this is my beloved son. Jesus was called the word. Not the written word, but the word bearer.

John 1:1 (NASB-U) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Matthew 3:16 (NASB-U) After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him,

Matthew 3:17 (NASB-U) and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased."

John 20:17 (NASB-U) Jesus said to her, "Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.' "

THE TRI-UNITY OF MAN.

Everything I said in this section is talking about man and the spirit of man. It is not talking about the Holy Spirit or demonic spirits.

1 Thes. 5:23 (NASB-U) Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Man was made in the image of God, and since God is a spirit, man is also a spiritual being just like his creator. Man is a spirit, and he has a soul and lives in a body.

MAN HAS A BODY.

Matthew 10:28 (NASB-U) "Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. The body is the house of both soul and spirit.

MAN HAS A SPIRIT.

Job 32:8 (KJV) But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

When God talk to man, man hears the voice of God in their spirit, not in the physical ears. If God spoke to you, your mate sleeping beside you will not hear but you only, because God spoke directly to you by way of your human spirit. You might think it is your mind talking to you, or your conscience. This human spirit the Holy Spirit sanctified, and used. At conversion this spirit is being connected to the Holy spirit, it makes the person one with God. At conversion, the person human spirit is joined to the Spirit of God like how a man and woman join in holy matrimony. The Holy Spirit does not penetrate your body and live in your body as some teaches. They are going by the term "In you", and "filled" But this "in you" is talking about the whole body of Christ here on earth.

GOD COMMUNICATES TO OUR SPIRIT BY WAY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Romans 8:16 (ASV) The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God:

Galatians 4:6 (KJV) And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

1 John 3:24 (KJV) And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

Romans 8:26 (KJV) Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings, which cannot be uttered.

Acts 5:32 (KJV) And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

2 Cor. 1:22 (KJV) Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Ephes. 1:13 (KJV) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Man can turn their spirit against God, by ignoring the voice of God when he speaks to them. Job 15:13 (NASB-U) That you should turn your spirit against God And allow such words to go out of your mouth?

The spirit can leave the body and the body died.

James 2:26 (NASB-U) For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

The soul feels pain just as the flesh.

Job 14:22 (KJV) But his flesh upon him shall have pain, and his soul within him shall mourn.

The soul can depart.

Genesis 35:18 (NASB-U) It came about as her soul was departing (for she died), that she named him Ben-oni; but his father called him Benjamin.

The human spirit indwell the soul and give life to the soul, the soul indwell the body and give life to the body. We do not know at what point of conception God put this human spirit in man. I keep saying human spirit because I do not want readers confuse it with the Holy Spirit. This human spirit is almost a replica of the Holy Spirit. I will not say replica, because replica is a copy. When a person was converted, it is this human spirit and soul that the work of redemption takes place in and not directly in the body. The body is not redeemed, but since it is a part of this Earth will, be redeemed the time the Earth is redeem at the coming of our lord.

You might ask, how many Holy Spirit there are? There is one Holy Spirit. I will not elaborate on this because we have one book called fire on the mountain that deals with the Holy Spirit. But this is where many Christians went off course, because what is being portrayed in many churches as the Holy Spirit is just another one of Satan spirit posing to be the Holy Spirit. If a believer do not know the Holy Spirit and do not know when the Holy Spirit is operating upon a person life, he she is bound to be deceived by deceiving spirits.

At the time of conversion, our spirit, which was dead in trespasses and sin, was recreate by the Holy Spirit, and is now join with the Holy Spirit, connected by untenable cord, call the grace of God. Suddenly you speak of Jesus like a person you really know and not just somebody that you read about. The scriptures, which were once like something of a storybook now became alive and are real to you.

FILL WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT IS A CONDITION.

To understand what filling with the Holy Spirit mean in our time you must realized that what happens in the book of Acts was promise by God to his people that the Holy Spirit would be given to the church age. The Holy spirit is now here in the church and all who is converted to Christ is brought into the invisible body of Christ, and is a part of Christ. The Holy Spirit filled the body of Christ and all who is a part of this body is filled. It is you and I that must go into the Holy Spirit or baptize into the Holy Spirit and not him come into us.

People in democratic countries will always find it hard to understand anything about God, because you cannot understand the things of God with a democratic mind-set. You must realize two basic truths. God is a King and he has a kingdom, his powers he delegates out to others, it is either you obey him or reject, or nothing about him will work for you. If you remove one thing from this series connection, the rest might not work.

People will never understand what it mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit as long as they are thinking about filling, as when a person fill up a bottle with water, or filling up mouth with food. It is not talking about that kind of filling. Filing here is terminology. Or an Idiom of scriptures. Filling with the Spirit is talking about be brought under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Filled with the Spirit mean that your human spirit is now co-working with the Holy Spirit. You are not just working by your own human spirit anymore and are listening to your own human spirit, but your human spirit is now listening to and co-working with the things of God. Look at these two bible verses.

Proverbs 25:28 (KJV) He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Ezekiel 13:3 (KJV) Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! The prophet is foolish when he fallow his own spirit. Your human spirit must be in subjection to the Holy Spirit.

1 Cor. 14:32 (KJV) And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

The prophets must have control over his human spirit as you read in Prov 25:28

Led by the Spirit.

There is a difference of being led by the spirit of the word. And being led by the Holy Spirit. Led by the written word, or the spirit of the word, is talking about conducting your daily life according to the scriptures. Or in harmony with the scriptures. This is what it is talking about when it say walk in the spirit. We will talk about this some more.

Acts 17:28 (KJV) For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

When your senses, which dwell in your soul, is now working in harmony with your recreated human spirit, which is now connected to the Holy Spirit. Before you were converted, you know about God by your senses. However, the sense knowledge cannot find nor comprehend God, or the things of God. Like as we said before Fill with the spirit Mean to be brought under the control or influence of the Holy Spirit.

If there is a spirit living in your body other that your human spirit, which you were born with, you better get that spirit out.

WHAT DOES IN YOU MEAN?

Ezekiel 37:14 (KJV) And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.

Here the prophet was talking to the whole nation of Israel and not to one person. In You mean that the Holy Spirit will be working in and through the nation of Israel.

John 14:17 (KJV) Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Here again the phrase In you Is use. The lord was talking to his apostles and disciples and not to one person only. In You mean, the Holy Spirit will be working in, through the apostles group, and not through the other groups of religious people at the time. Today the Holy Spirit is working in and through the body of Christ here on Earth the Church.

In you Do not mean that if somebody cut your foot, they would see the foot of the Holy Ghost in your foot. You cannot take everything literally.

WALKING IN THE SPIRIT.

Galatians 5:16-18 (NASB-U) But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. [17] For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. [18] But if the Spirit leads you, you are not under the Law.

The spirit here is not necessarily talking about the Holy Spirit. Walking in the spirit is talking about walking in the word. Our lord says his word are life and are spirit.

John 6:63 (NASB-U) "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.

Walking in the spirit is talking about walking in the written word. Or walking in the spirit, or concept of the word. Which mean to conduct our lives according to the word. Let our dealing be base upon the written word. That is all walking in the spirit is talking about I believe. Living in the spirit, mean to continual act that way. For example if a white person came and say I call them a white trash, I do not need to try to remember if I did say it, because I do not talk down on people nor call people names period.

Galatians 5:25 (KJV) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Galatians 5:26 (KJV) Let us not be desirous of vainglory, provoking one another, envying one another.

WALKING IN THE FLESH.

Ezekiel 13:3 (KJV) Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

Walking in the flesh can be summed up as when the human spirit is going by itself and is not walking in obedience to the holy spirit, or is not under the supervision of the holy spirit.

EVIDENCE OF A HOLY SPIRIT FILED LIFE.

Philip. 4:7 (KJV) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. All genuine Christians are filled with a peace and joy that passeth all understanding. If a believer falls under depression, he or she salvations are come under question. Especially those who has reasons to be giving thanks. Even under massive persecutions Christians in communist prison was rejoicing.

Acts 16:25 (KJV) And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

Depression, mean spirited, sassy spirit and unforgiving spirit is not the mark of believer who has received the genuinely baptism of the Holy Spirit. This person is being deceived, by one of Satan familiar spirit posing as the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit came to give power to Gods people.

Acts 1:8 (NASB-U) but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

Power for service, power to propagate the good news, boldness, and courage to carry the gospel message to the end of the world.

THE HOLY SPIRIT CAME TO IMPLANT LOVE.

Romans 5:5 (NASB-U) and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Col. 3:12 (KJV) Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

THE HOLY SPIRIT CAME TO SHOW US THINGS TO COME.

John 16:13 (NASB-U) "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

THE HOLY SPIRIT CAME TO COMFORT THE SAINTS.

John 14:26 (NASB-U) "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

THE HOLY SPIRIT CAME TO HELP US LIVE THE LIFE.

Zech. 4:6 (NASB-U) Then he said to me, "This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel saying, 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the Lord of hosts. Zech. 4:7 (NASB-U) 'What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of "Grace, grace to it!" ' "

Ephes. 2:8 (NASB-U) For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; Ephes. 2:9 (NASB-U) not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS A SPIRIT OF LOVE.

Galatians 5:22 (KJV) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Galatians 5:23 (KJV) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Ephes. 5:9 (KJV) (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth ;)

1 John 4:20 (NASB-U) If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. 2 Thes. 3:10 (NASB-U) For even when we were with you, we used to give you this order: if not anyone is willing to work, then he is not to eat, either.

What some people call love is hand out. They sit down and commit fornication all day and smoke and Christians relatives of the family must support them and they call it love.

THE HOLY SPIRIT DO NOT ENGINEERED WILD IMPULSIVE BEHAVIORS.

1 Cor. 14:40 (KJV) Let all things be done decently and in order.

Wild impulsive behaviors in the church are not of God; it is just self-displaying and self-lifting up. 1 Cor. 14:33 (KJV) For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

GETTING TO KNOW DECEIVING SPIRITS WHO FAKE THE HOLY SPIRIT.

There is the spirit of divination that fakes the Holy Spirit. Also there is the familiar spirit. Familiar spirit is a friendly demons, you would think, the way this person is nice he/ she is fill with the Holy Spirit, then when you saw how they back stabs and dig pits you faint at the wickedness. Acts 16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:

Leviticus 20:6 and the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

These two spirit take possession of many Church people, infect the church is a breeding ground for these two spirits. Some of them break fight right there in church. Behind all that, niceness there will be a hate undreamt. These also do not have any stomach for the written word of God. They prefer somebody gave them a word Many Church people do not know genuine Christians, and do not know the spirit of God. Nor know demonic spirit. You and I will never live a triumphant Christian’s life if we do not know deceiving spirits.

John 16:2 (Living) For you will be excommunicated from the synagogues, and indeed the time is coming when those who kill you will think they are doing God a service.

FOOLED BY EVIL SPIRITS.

Supposed conviction of sin by deceiving spirits. By Jesse Pen- Lewis, in the book title War on the Saints" I united with a number of brethren and sisters one whole week every month, in prayer to God to pour out more of His Spirit, gifts, and power. After having done this for some time with great earnestness, such powerful and wonderful manifestations of God and His Holy Spirit (apparently) took place that we no longer doubted God had heard our prayer, and His Spirit had descended into our midst, and on our gathering. Amongst other things this spirit, which we thought to be the Holy Spirit, used a fifteen-year-old girl as his instrument, though whom everyone belonging to our gathering, and having any sin or burden of conscience, had it revealed to the gathering.

Nobody could remain in the meeting with any burden of conscience without it being revealed to the meeting by this spirit. For example: a gentleman of esteem and respect from the neighborhood came to the meeting, and all his sins were exposed in the presence of the gathering by the fifteen-year-old girl. There upon he took me into an adjoining room, so broken down, and admitted to me, with tears, that he had committed all these sins, which the girl had exposed.

He confessed this and all other sin known to him. Then he came again into the meeting, but hardly had he entered when the same voice said to him" Ha! you have not confessed all yet, you have stolen ten gulden, that you have not confessed" in consequence, he took me again into the adjoining room and said" It is true, I have also done this" This man had never seen this fifteen-year-old girl in his life, neither she him.---We had to unmask this spirit which had brought about these things-which we took to be the Holy Ghost as a terrible power of darkness.-- As we came downstairs the voice of this power said, using the fifteen-year old girl as his instrument" What is this rebellion in your midst? You will be sorely punished for your unbelief" I told this voice that it was true we did not know with whom we had dealing.

But we wanted to be in that attitude, that if it was an angel of God, or the Spirit of God, we would not sin against Him, but if it was a devil we would not be deceived by him'' if you are the power of God, you will be in accord as we handle the Word of God.-- Then the power had to reveal itself of its own accord. Through the person which he had been using as his instrument he made such abominable and terrible grimaces, and shrieked in such a piercing tone'' Now I am found out, now I am found out"

HOW DEMONS ATTACK ADVANCE BELIEVERS.

In The book War On The Saints, by Jessie Penn-Lewis. Page 149-150. 1-3 The agency of demons is always brought more conspicuously into notice, in proportion to the manifestation and power of Gods work among souls. When the son of God was manifest in the flesh, in called forth the activity and outspoken agency of demons more than ever before.

VARIOUS KINDS OF DEMONS.

Demons are of a multiplied variety. They are of various types, greater in diversity than human being, and these demons always seek to possess a person congenial to them in some characteristic. The bible tells us of unclean demons, with craft and fortune-telling demons, of insanity, of drunkenness, of gluttony, of idleness, of wonder or miracle working, of despotic demons, theological demons, screeching and yelling demons. There are demons that act more particularly on the body, or some organ or appetite of the body. There are others that act more directly upon the intellect, or the sensibilities, and emotions, and affections.

There are others of a higher order that act directly on mans spiritual nature, upon the conscience, or the spiritual perceptions. These are the ones that act as angels of light, and sidetrack and delude many who are real Christians.

HOW DEMONS FASTEN ON HUMAN BEINGS.

They seek out those whose make-up and temperament is most congenial to themselves, and then seek to fasten themselves on some part of the body, or brain, or some appetites, Alternatively, some faculty of the mind, either the reason, or imagination, or perception; and when they get access, they bury themselves into the very structure of the person, to identify themselves with the personality of the one they possess.

WILD ABNORMAL IMPULSES BEHAVIORS.

A very holy and useful woman says, that soon after receiving the baptism of the Spirit, there came to her one night in the church, a wild abnormal impulse to throw the hymn-book at the preacher, and run over the church screaming; and it took all her will power to keep her hand from throwing that book, but she had common sense to know that the Holy Spirit was not the author of such a suggestion. If she had yielded to those sudden feelings, it would have likely given that fanatical demon admission to her emotional nature and ruined her life work.

Another person said he felt like rolling on the floor, and groaning and pulling the chairs around, but he distinctly perceived that the impulse to do so had some things wild in it; and a touch of self-display contrary to the gentleness and sweetness of Jesus; and, as quick as he saw it was an attack of a false spirit, he was delivered. But another man had the same impulse, and fell down groaning and roaring, beating the floor with his hands and feet, and the demon entered into him as the angel of light, and got him to think that his conduct was of the Holy Ghost, and it became a regular habit in the meetings he attended, until he would ruin every religious meeting he was in.

THE TALKING IN OTHER TONGUES EXPERIENCE.

Even before we starting to talk about the doctrines of speaking in other languages. It is important for you to know that God do not do anything without a logical reason. If you remember what happen in the book of Genesis.

Genesis 11:1-9 (KJV) And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. [2] And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

[3] And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. [4] And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. [5] And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. [6] And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. [7] Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. [8] So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

[9] Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Jesus told his disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel to all the people.

Mark 16:15-18 (KJV) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. [16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. [17] And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; [18] They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

How is this preaching going to come about, because all the people of the world speak different languages. Jesus disciples only speak one language.

Acts 2:7 (ASV) And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying, Behold, are not all these that speak Galilaeans?

GOD SAYS HOW HE IS GOING TO DO IT.

1 Cor. 14:21 (KJV) In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.

Isaiah 28:11 (KJV) For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

Joel 2:28 (KJV) And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

THIS CAME THROUGH IN THE BOOK OF ACTS OF THE APOSTLES.

Acts 2:1-24 (GW) When Pentecost, the fiftieth day after Passover, came, all the believers were together in one place. [2] Suddenly, a sound like a violently blowing wind came from the sky and filled the whole house where they were staying. [3] Tongues that looked like fire appeared to them. The tongues arranged themselves so that one came to rest on each believer. [4] All the believers were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.

[5] Devout Jewish men from every nation were living in Jerusalem. [6] They gathered when they heard the wind. Each person was startled to recognize his own dialect when the disciples spoke. [7] Stunned and amazed, the people in the crowd said, "All of these men who are speaking are Galileans. [8] Why do we hear them speaking in our native dialects? [9] We are Parthians, Medes, and Elamites. We are people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, the province of Asia, [10] Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, and the country near Cyrene in Libya. We are Jewish people, converts to Judaism, and visitors from Rome, [11] Crete, and Arabia. We hear these men in our own languages as they tell about the miracles that God has done."

[12] All of these devout men were stunned and puzzled. They asked each other, "What can this mean?" [13] Others said jokingly, "They're drunk on sweet wine."

[14] Then Peter stood up with the eleven apostles. In a loud voice, he said to them, "Men of Judea, and everyone living in Jerusalem! You must understand this, so pay attention to what I say. [15] These men are not drunk as you suppose. It is only nine in the morning. [16] Rather, this is what the prophet Joel spoke about:

[17] 'In the last days, God says, I will pour my Spirit on everyone. Your sons and daughters will speak what God has revealed. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams. [18] In those days I will pour my Spirit on my servants, on both men and women. They will speak what God has revealed.

NOW THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GIVEN TO THE BODY OF CHRIST HERE ON EARTH.

Does the church still have the ability to speak in other languages? Yes. This was how Africa, India, and some other far off dark country were open up to the gospel.

However, before we talk about that. The king James version with its outdated spellings and outdate English from the year 1611 make it hard for young people to understand the Bible today. Other tongues mean other language. Unknown tongues mean language that are not known or language that are not written.

The people were speaking other languages. It is important to know that Peter speaks to all the people in his language, but all the people heard him in their languages. The gift of tongues or other languages have two dimensions. You can go into the person language, or the person can hear you in his or her own languages while you were still in your original language. The wonderful works of God.

One missionary went to China in the early days to preach the Gospel; she employs the service of a translator, and was speaking through the translator. But one morning the translator did not turn up. The people were their hundreds waiting to hear the gospel message. She could not wait any longer, so she begins to speak to the people in English, but she realized that the people understood her, so she continues. When the translator came in. Now this is the gift of other tongues, other languages.

WHAT ABOUT THE GIFT OF TONGUES?

Remember it is three dimensions as I told you. Other language, unknown language, and language. Tongues or language speaks of your own original language in which you were born. We heard them speak in tongues They were glorified God in their own mother language.
